This Cookie Policy explains how Ecuchasqui S.A.S. uses cookies and similar technologies on ecuchasqui.com and how they interact with Google Consent Mode v2, the consent-management standard that Google has required from advertisers since 2024 and which remains in force in 2026.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets us remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language or whether you have already accepted the cookie policy.
2. Google Consent Mode v2
This site initialises Google's consent with every parameter set to 'denied' by default, before any Google script is loaded. That means neither Google Ads nor Google Analytics store advertising or analytics cookies until you allow it explicitly from the banner. When you change your preferences, we update the state with gtag('consent', 'update', ...) and fire the event cookie_consent_update in the data layer.
3. Cookie categories
We use four categories: (a) Strictly necessary, always on, without which the site does not work; (b) Functional, to remember the language; (c) Analytics, to understand how the site is used; (d) Marketing, including Google Ads (AW-18064110603) to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.
4. Third-party cookies
When you accept marketing cookies Google may set identifiers such as _gcl_au (Google Ads) and NID (personalisation). These identifiers last between 30 and 400 days. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. How to change your decision
You can change your decision at any time by clicking 'Configure cookies' at the bottom of the page. You can also delete cookies from your browser; in that case the banner will reappear on your next visit.
6. Ad-data redaction
This site enables ads_data_redaction=true, which means that if you browse our pages without marketing consent Google will not receive advertising identifiers or sensitive URL parameters.
7. No cookies before consent
Before you accept or reject, only strictly necessary cookies are loaded to operate the site (language, banner state). No advertising or analytics tracking is performed prior to consent.
